Tessa began her yoga practice after someone talked her into switching up her challenging workout routine. After playing sports in high school and following a fast paced exercise regimen, Tessa was skeptical. After just her first class, Tessa had fallen in love and continued to practice regularly. She found that not only did she benefit from the classes physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. After taking different styles of yoga for years, Tessa knew she was ready to take her 200 HYT training program at The Hot Yoga Spot under the guidance of Jennilee Toner.
Tessa knows how much yoga has balanced her life and made her a better person so she is dedicated to teaching others. Even though there are good days and bad, there will always be a place on the mat to find a few moments of peace while also getting a great workout. Tessa makes sure her students find the balance between body and mind in her classes so they can leave sweaty, happy and connected.
