Andrea is a talented and versatile yoga instructor who enjoys practicing various styles including Barkan, Bikram, Baptiste, Vinyasa and Barre Bootcamp. Her classes at The Hot Yoga Spot are fun, focused and naturally flowing. She believes that breath, asana and meditation are gracefully interwoven to align the heart and mind through the divine temple of the body.
Practicing yoga for more than 15 years as a way to deal with chronic back pain, Andrea quickly realized the positive health benefits and obtained her 200-Hour RYT Certification as a way to share her experience and connect people to their own joyful potential.
For the past six years, Andrea, has taught a diverse assortment of yoga. Her deep understanding and compassion for others, along with her nurturing nature, helps her accommodate various skill levels and people on their mats.
A passion and love for learning, Andrea, has completed trainings and certifications in addition to her RYT-200 Hour certification, including Hot 26 through Corepower Yoga and Level II/III Barkan training with Jimmy Barkan, as a way to deepen and strengthen her teachings.
Andrea, currently serves on the Board of Directors for ShenendeYoga, a non profit organization who’s vision is to inspire the community to live empowered and vibrant lives through the practices of mindfulness, yoga and meditation.
Born and raised in the Capital District, Andrea, is the co-owner of The Hot Yoga Spot in Clifton Park, Latham and East Greenbush. She is a former Pharmaceutical Sales Representative, with her Masters in Organizational Management from Sage Graduate School.
