Avery is a true movement enthusiast. In addition to being a yoga teacher, she is also a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor. She loves all kinds of movement and is constantly challenging herself to try new things. Her passion for yoga and fitness stems from her own struggle with chronic illness. After being diagnosed with an incurable autoimmune disease at the age of 19, she was inspired to fight her illness by making permanent lifestyle changes. Through healthy diet, regular exercise, and mindfulness practice, Avery is able to stay in remission and enjoy life to the fullest.
Avery has been practicing yoga for more than 10 years and loves to combine yoga with her love of strength training. Her motto is, “exercise is the best medicine!” Avery is truly passionate about helping others achieve health and wellness in their lives. She understands that true wellness is an ongoing process that takes dedication and patience. Her positive attitude and calming energy provide a welcoming class environment, and her classes will both challenge you and rejuvenate you!
