“It just got to the point where I felt like it was chaos all the time,” Durkin says of her old life, which involved a full-time job in pharmaceutical sales while co-owning The Hot Yoga Spot in Clifton Park and teaching yoga classes. “I felt like I was never able to just be present, and you wake up and you’re thinking about things constantly and planning the next things … and I was just getting stressed out with it. … I really wanted to be able to focus more on one thing and do the thing I really enjoyed, which was running a business and teaching yoga.”
