Carolyn

Carolyn started practicing yoga when she was in college, as a means of dealing with stress and anxiety. Yoga has helped her to feel more present in her body, to regulate her nervous system, and to find moments of calm and quiet. Carolyn spent the decade after college working in early childhood education. Sharing mindfulness practices, breathing exercises, and a physical yoga practice with her students, their families, and with other educators became her favorite part of her job. She pursued her yoga teacher training through Breathe for Change, a yoga program designed specifically for educators. Carolyn relocated from Boston to New York in 2022 and is so happy to have found the wonderful community at the Hot Yoga Spot.
